My name is Kenya Shatone Cunningham. I was born March 12, 1967, in Gary, Indiana. I grew up there. I attend Grand Rapids Job mess where I received my GED and Clerical training. Once I calibrated from there, my Aunt from Dallas called me and said well what are you going to do now. I told her I didnt know, she asked me, well would you like to go to college, and I said yes. Thats how I got to Texas. I accompanied Paul Quinn College in Waco, Texas. I went there for a year, my account was Education, something I hope to pursue in the near future. unexpended college, and came to Austin. I worked odd jobs, and went to a technical school (Mansfield handicraft School) for Data Entry. I graduated from there and began working for MCI. I worked there for 14 yrs. I was a top slattern and made lots of money. Also worked for AT&T radio did that for 2 yrs. Enjoyed learning about cell phones and how they operate.

Resigned from there and drop at Peak Performance and landed a shipboard position with Texas Department of Agriculture. I worked for the Regulatory division and I began there I believe as a temporary July 15th or so, besides because of my professionalism, charm, witty, and skills they could not resist that to hire me on as a permanent employee. So I became a state employee on September 15, 2005. I now work for the Food & Nutrition Division, and very proud.
